This bowl has a graceful petal shaped form. The rim gently curves and folds, creating soft, organic contours that give the piece a sense of movement and delicacy.

The glaze enhances this floral character beautifully. A creamy tone rests along the upper edges and pulls downward toward the centre gradually shifting into soft blue as it flows then pooling to a cream colour in the centre. Because the glaze has texture it catches and breaks in places,

On the back, the surface has been chattered, creating rhythmic tool marks that introduce a tactile, almost carved quality. This area is finished in a darker brown glaze, providing a warm, earthy contrast to the lighter, cooler tones on the front.
