Bowl - Wavy, Blue & Green - 782

A large, generously proportioned pottery bowl with an undulating rim. The interior surface is richly glazed in deep blue and green tones that melt into one another, creating a lustrous almost metallic sheen, in the centre is a warm coppery glaze in striking contrast.
The exterior has a tactile finish, glazed in dark blue emphasizing the hand-formed quality of the bowl. This textured surface enhances the drama of the interior, so that the piece feels both earthy and luxurious, designed to be admired as much as it is used.
