This wheel thrown pottery bowl has been embellished with a delicate row of small hand formed beads on the rim.
A deep blue glaze forms the base giving the bowl depth and intensity. Over this, a lighter blue glaze flows and pools softly in the centre of the interior. This pooling effect creates natural variations in tone ranging from misty pale blue highlights to richer blues where the glazes interact.
On the exterior an organic pattern in the same dark and light blues wraps around the bowl.
